The same could be said for the cleaner wrasse. Yes, they are inexpensive, but they will starve and then die.
I must have had bryopsis as the little guys ate it. Too bad they are neat little critters and a nice solution.

I found a good article from Reefkeeping.com that might help you. The last section applies to your situation. Bottom line, this article does not recommend keeping nudibranchs in a reef system.

Doing just a quick search on this algae, revealed this result:

It appears this is not a harmful algae, but I'm sure it is a nuisance in your tank. I know I would want it out of my tank.
