Good luck Jamie...I have the Seio M820's also. Very cool powerheads for the buck. I hope you get rid of those pests!

that sounds like a good plan dood.
you know you should also check below the sea level i believe is down town Seattle area, may be they'll have some for you.
or salt watercity :) .

Jamie

I started a thread on here about how got rid of flatworms but it appears as thought I did not finish it (details on second treatment). I am a huge scatter brain. I will go and update it tomorrow. If you have any questions please feel free to pm me. I don't have internet at home so I am only online during the day/weekdays. (sssshhh don't tell my boss) The second treatment was a must for me and I would highly recommend doubling the dose both times.

hey, there's the packer fan dood i was telling you about :D .

Got home tonight and made the siphon tool in the link above. That worked so well! I sucked out so many flatworms I had to empty out the micron bag 7 or 8 times. I probably removed 90% of the flatworms that were visible at the time. I am sure there are more in there, but I might have it down to where I can use the Flatworm Exit and not crash my tank. I have looked everywhere and have not been able to find any yet.

My plan is to order some Flatworm Exit online unless I can find some tomorrow. I am going to observe the tank and siphon out any flatworms that I can until I can treat the tank.

Flatworm Exit

Jamie,
I've heard and read that Mandarin Gobies and Sixline Wrasses both (if you're lucky) will eat flatworms. It would be a more natural solution. I have some flatworm exit if you really think that's your ticket, I completely chickened out of using it after mulling over some of the others experiences. I was more afraid for the micro-population in my tank than the fish, which I could have removed for the treatment(s).

I think if you just do the syphon thing every few days you'll pretty much wipe out their population, the M820 will help too since their grip is so weak.

If you want to work out the FWE let me know, but I'd go the natural route if you can! ;)

I agree with Susie :) , but if you think you can't wait, then good luck.
sixline wrasses i think can help but don't expect them to eat them all in one day, but as long as you keep siphonin and having a fish like that.. trust me, you'll see a change, also make sure that you can keep one of them in your tank because sometimes other fishes would try to attack them.
I used to have a bicolor pseudochromis and he killed my mandarin and he tryed to kill the six line wrass so i had to removed him if i was gonna do this, like i said just make sure you can keep one :)
