I had two anemones recently split and thought I had new homes for them today but fell through they are bagged and floating in my sump it might be a couple days before they can be picked up and what is the safest way to keep these guys healthy until they are picked up? Thought I might put them in the sump but light is on 24-7 and only a cheap clear led light that don't think its enough but might be for a few days. Don't want to put them back in the DT tank with fear of hurting something else or hiding in a place I can't get to.

Should be good for a couple days.
I had to put one in my sump while waiting for someone to pick it up. I did put it in a plastic container, which contained the anemone and kept it from attaching to something in the sump.
My only light was the light for macro.

just drill holes in a Tupperware put the nem in it place in the sump for a few days.

How well do they do in a co species tank? you might want separate tupperware for them if they are separate species.

Thanks for the help I put them in there own tubberware containers and holding in the sump.

If its going to be more than 3 days, I would go to Petsmart or someplace like that and buy some breeder containers for live bearing freshwater fish....like this:

Amazon.com: fish breeder net

Inexpensive, easy, and under lighting......

Definitly don't keep them in bags.... I put mine in my sump for weeks lol, I was hoping someone would come pick him up and never did. Finally I gave him to my friend.
i just let him sit down there in the FUGE section and he was good. I had a LED flood light thing and he liked it. kinda weird but it worked for weeks

no bags :D until he comes and picks them up
