Hi Anthony, I was hoping to get a gallons per hour estimate, that you run through your 55g remote DSB.

I believe you said it's hooked up to a 1500g syste or so.

Any way to post a picture showing exactly how you have it set up?

this was an old system that I installed for a retailer I worked for about 15 years ago. They still had it running (and happily) at least as recently as a couple years ago (I should ask/visiton this).

The tank was simply a standard 55 gall commercial aquarium, drilled about 3" from the top and filled nearly to the bottom of those opverflow bulkheads with fine (1mm) sand. Very little water (<1000 gph) flowed briskly across it from a diffused point on one short end wall (and overflowing on the opposite).

It quickly and sustainably reduced nitrates on this very heavy bioload (commercial retail) system.
