i have all the materials and inline pump. going with 1inch sch 40. a second mind would be much help. kinda stumped on where i want the pump to sit. i wanna put the return , bio pellot reactor and a uv terilizer on it but placement is beeing a pain in the butt. any1 wanna come over and ponder it with me? the pump is a lil giant 1000 gph. i rebuilt it today, repacked berrings and such. needed badly. now is verry quiet and clean.

I actually enjoy plumbing, done it so many times it comes easy to me. If I still lived in your neck of the woods I'd be happy to help but the drive would be a killer now. Sorry.

im actually having problem getting the little giant to stay primed. any preasure and it losses suction. any thoughts.

bad pump... being a centrifugal pump it needs a spinning impellar and a tight tolerance wear ring (or cover) that is a couple thousandths in gap to provide pressure. Otherwise if the gap is too large between the impellar and wear ring then it will just slosh water around and create heat. Becareful as this may wear out the mechanical seal prematurely! Check the clearances inside the pump housing... post pics to help!
