I am at a standstill and just haven't had time to get things finished like I wanted. My father in law passed away during the holidays and my wife and I have been consumed and busy with all that entails.
I have my tank up and running, but my electrical panel in my garage sump/bench is still not wired in. The friend that was going to help never showed and I don't think he is interested. I would wire it myself, but I really want it to be installed in a safe and professional way (and up to code).
Let me know if anyone is interested in making a little $ on the side.

I have the following punch list left to do...

Wire the panel breakers to the corresponding receptacles (8)
wire the heater controller into the panel
wire the main power to a dedicated receptacle (I already have 30A outet installed)
wire from panel to a couple of outlets and lights on the bench.
install the 12v for the backlights to the panel
clean up and routing of misc wires on bench

and if interested in making some more $, we may have other stuff around the house (light switch wired on our back porch, drywall repair?)

you can see my panel and system on my thread under tank design (link below)

let me know if anyone is interested

I can do iit all to code except the 12 volt?
Not sure untill I see it!
Do you have all the suff there?
And do you have a drill for the routing of the wires?

I have everything...except I might need to buy some wire and heat shrink (and terminals to connect to receptacles).

take a look at these pics and my thread and see what you think. I sure would like to bring this baby to life

oh yes...I have every tool you could want to use. sockets, 18V drill, hole saws, wire cutters/crimpers, heat gun, solder iron, bottle opener ...

do you think you could wire it to Jam radar or shoot heat seeking missiles like the A6?

Those missle on the EA6B actually lock on to a radar signal and follow that to the source!
Called a HARM missle if I remember right?

I am heading out for a bit, but PM and let me know what times or days work for you and what you would charge. I am usually home every evening and could even make time on weekends.

whoa, you worked on prowlers??
I work on them right now as a civilian contractor.
Did it 10 years in the Marines before that.

How long were you in??

I was only in for 2 years. I wanted to go SAR swimmer but they said "it wasn't in your contract, your screwed" so I opted to get a ADMIN SEP and go my merry way.
I was in VAQ 129 rag squad.

LOL
nice
I did love the barracks up there they were like a nice hotel and Canada was sOOO close for partieing!!
Fun place!

After a day of wiring (and a home depot trip), the panel is alive. Thanks Myteemouse (Adam) for the help. I really appreciated your electrical expertise.
We got the panel functional, now I just need to do some clean up and running some wires to outlets, switches and a few other mini projects.
I will post pictures on my other thread after I clean things up and finish the rest.
Thanks Again for coming over.

no problem It was nice to meet you and your wife and your friendly dog!!!
LOVE the setup very clean!!
I'll try to get over there to finish up this week!
