Hi! Eric here. I thought everyone died or moved on. Glad to see that's not the case.

I have been reduced to a 29 gallon rimless..

Livestock:
SPS, LPS(1), 5 fish and a shrimp

Lighting:
AI Prime and a Kessil 150

Flow:
Two MP40s ( I didn't know where else to store them when I broke down the 125g)

Filtration:
Uhhhh..... Water changes....
10 Gallon sump, 2/3s of it is filled with Chateo.
-36w grow lights.... Expanding to 96w.
Carbon changed sometimes...

I gave away most of my equipment to new reefers. I'm pretty satisfied with a smaller tank and storage room in the garage. But the itch to go bigger is always there.....

Btw. I heard water changes are not the cool thing to do now? I've been doing it wrong for over a decade?

Methods have been refined to help you avoid water changes, and some folks are having success with them.
When I looked at Triton, with the testing and dosing folks are doing, it seemed more over complicated and expensive. Of course, I do automated daily water changes, so, my method is really simplistic. We all choose out paths and challenges though. Its cool to see how much this hobby evolves.

I think you can maybe reduce WC's and depending of lots of factors, amount of water you have, equipment etc. all affects how you maintain your reef tank at the end of the day you have to determine what your reef needs. I wouldn't ever think you would completely but definitely do them less these days.
