Anybody's coral spawn last night?

around 11pm I notices my fish on a feeding frenzy on something in the open water and the only thing I can think that it was is that my Pocillopora damicornis spawned ( again). ( it spawned before and is growing EVERYWHERE in my tank. just wonder if the moon was right or something?

Not sure if the moon effects our tanks the same as it does in the open ocean????????????

I've seen a couple different spawning events happen right after a water change with all lights on then switch to just actinic. Almost convinced the new water and light change can trigger the spawn. I've seen it 5or 6 times with maxi minis and micro brittles but only once in the middle of the day

hmmm interesting every time i pull out a bunch of clove polyps my deresa clam spawns

I had all sorts of issues with Poci spawning when I kept it in my previous set up. I wasn't able to pinpoint what would trigger it, but I know those jagged little guys growing everywhere made maintenance dangerous!
