I purchased some Pink zoas at the frag swap and recently they have become inflammed? The pictures look like its a sponge but infact it is the zoa just exploded up. Anyone know what causes this or how to get rid of it? I have others in the tank and only the pink ones are doing it.

2 pics hope you can see this time to tell.

Thats the strangest thing I have ever seen with Zoo's. Unfortunately, I don't have a clue what the problem is... so giving you a "bump".

I can see why you got them. They have very nice colors. :)

Bump.

The ones there have done it since I put them in the tank, but the other pinks ones I transplanted were fine until about yesterday then they started doing it. Thats just the main bunch that has the problem. there are some that arent doing it yet but its just strange and was wondering if anyone has seen this. Or know anything about it?

I dont know if it is exactly the same, but my zoa's seem to do that sometimes, and I think that if you just give them a few days they will be back to normal again...although I have some macro algae growing right in the middle of my colony so maybe that might be the problem....so I dont really know ( hope you figure it out)

No I didnt try to fresh water dip them. And those ones in the picutres have dont it since I got them but others just started recently I will try something in the zoo section if I can find it lol. They are pretty though thats why I got them =]
