Hmm, that totally goes against the common theory that any crab with black or darker tipped claws are not reef safe. I'd also heard that they were a common hitchhiker and NOT reef safe. Very interesting. Cute lil' guy.

Fairlan, in the link you provided, I didn't see the black tips on the crab, but I noticed the black tips on your crab.
That looks amazingly similar to ones I've had to pull out of my zoanthid tank.
Do you keep any zoanthids?
Looks like he's getting big enough to name.
