Anyone know what this thing is?

So i found this thing cause i was watching my tank for a lil and suddenly saw these little plumes of foggy water raise into the column the size of a edamame or something. Started moving some rocks around and saw this little guy "puking?" into the water. any idea what it is?

You know I found the same thing in my tank I Just set mine up a week ago. It's shell is pink and blue, and flat. But I couldn't find anything about it online. Sorry not much help. But your not alone

Stomatella Varia hmmm...sperm... it seams from this article. I was in daylight and up high.
