Nothing is more frustrating than joining a new forum and not knowing where to begin :doubt:. The owners, hand in hand, with the forum designer have put in alot of time and effort into the new layout here at Reef Frontiers in such a neat way that it makes navigating the site pretty easy at a first glance!! But...Not all forums are the same and there will still be some members that will still get a bit lost or are just not sure how to go about doing certain things so I figured I'd put up a thread to help you out. I love answering questions and helping out new members with whatever issues they have so ask away! No question is too silly for me to answer so if you come across anything at all in terms of, "what is this tab for?", "How do I navigate the forum and find the chat room", "How would I go about sending pm's to another member", "How do I post photos" or whatever! Just post your questions here and I will do my absolute best to answer them. In as many cases as possible, I will add in some screen shots to make explaining things a bit clearer. There are a few sticky's at the top of this section that may be of some help to you so be sure to check them out as well.

Haha!!! Thanks alot man!! We try!! Mike came up with this neat idea of a section here where new members can introduce themselves to sort of break the ice for them and make them feel at home so that's what this whole new section is all about. Hopefully it does the trick and new members feel right at home here and are able to use the forum without any difficulties.

Hey Krish I love the layout and design with the upgrade. It looks sooooo professional . I have to say when I first logged in with the new design I was overwhelmed and at first thought I had put in the wrong web address!. Is there a place in this forum with some "navigation tips"?

Are you talking about a singature?? If so, you have to have a certain number of posts in order to have one. We had members (well spammers) signing up and putting links in their signature to off topic websites advertising so we had to do something to prevent this from happening. I will find out (totally forgot) how many posts you will need in order to be able to have a signature and let you know.


Also, once you are able to put up a signature, this article should help you navigate around your user profile to do it.

Within an hour, you have an Edit option. After than hour, the Edit option is no longer available.

It is 30 days and 50 post, same thing to view the classifieds, sorry it has to be this way but it really helps with the spammers, they are very aggressive these days.
