April Meeting

I lived in the Az heat for 6 years. It was nice and all ( in the winter heh ) but after a bit, the lack of seasons changing kinda sucked. Felt like the movie "groundhogs day". Everymorning looked the same. Also incinerating summers begin to melt you down.

Southern cal wasn't that bad. I dont recall too bad of humidity. Up here you have two seasons and the nice one only lasts about 2 months. The rest of the year I could do without. I lived in san diego for a few years and at the time the city was not the greatest, well most areas of it anyway, but I loved the weather. 365 days a year I took the dogs to the beach at 4pm. Yeah, I got to missing some snow at christmas, but I'm over that now!

I miss the weather and the beaches of So Cal! I was born and raised there, but the cost to live in cali these days is outrageous

Here in CA now. Didn't know I'd cause such a uproar! I also grew up here and lived here until I was 22. I'll enjoy the sun and you all enjoy the great time at Barrier tomorrow. I'll be back on Sunday afternoon...just a quick trip.

THANKS BRA AND CREW!!! had a great time and learned some new things about doing tank photography from Brie. Everyone was also provided with a wonderful pamphlet that Brie put together on the do's and donts of reef tank photography as well as BRA having a fantastic sale that I'm happy to say I took part in myself with a quartet of very healthy Bar gobies for my Goby/dartfish dominated 100g

Cy and Brie, thank you! Tom, thank you! I feel I needed to personally apologize that we weren't able to stay for the whole time. Madison was really antsy and Angie wasn't feeling well. I'm so sorry. We missed the best part.

It was a great time. I learned some tricks Brie uses and found out about a couple pieces of equipment I had never seen before. Yeah, I kinda lead a sheltered life. Technology escapes me too. Give me an slr and I'm good. These digital things are a little complicated.
