Aquadirect - has anyone ordered from them?

I found a new Aquarium supply dealer online today. www.aquadirect.com

They are in Puyallup or so it says. Prices look reasonable as well.

Has anyone ordered from them? if so, any feedback regarding your order?

I ordered some RO filters. Got no email confirming order. You cannot reach them on the phone. Drove down there found a small one man closet sized office with no sign of life. I got the filters a week later, direct from the manufacturer with no invoice or credit card slip. I'm not so sure I would trust them with a large purchase. They seem to be a drop ship co.

that isn't good.....guess they won't be getting business from me.

they are a drop shipper. Everything you order is dropped shipped directly form the manufacturer, most one man shows do it that way. I have ordered from them a long time ago. no real personal contact just showed up at the door.

We have a great line up of sponcers with all sorts of stuff. f you see something that is a little below thier advertized price, nothing stops you from asking for a match????? always worked for me, also take into credit what they help us do here on the board.

only reason i was really curious about aquadirect was that they are so close that it would save time on shipping but then i thought well i would have to pay taxes then since it's in the state.

i definitely agree with the supporting our sponsors and i've supported them in the past and will definitely in the future.

oh yeah after reading a few reviews on reefcentral there is no way i would even think about ordering from this vendor.

That's Scary the site looks pretty inviting and they "look" like they have a large selection. to bad that's not the case.

Dont get me wrong folks, thier are just like many of thier kind. For me I just always give the sponcers a shot at my biz, not that I will pay more, but giving them a shot at it is just a good thing.

Hi All,
I have ordered from Aquadirect and had no problem. They do eventually answer the phone but also had trouble getting a person on the line. When they finally answered I found them helpful and the items are shipped out of Portland and arrived relatively quick in good shape.
But I tend to agree with Mojo that we should try to support our sponsers. I didn't know about this site when I ordered from them in the past.
