OK...now you can say OMG!

I'm guessing that the corals added 1-2" each month to all branch extensions when I compare my initial picts in June...lol. So much so I am having to sell some pieces to combat the "Warfare" between some of them. Fun to see where the battle lines are drawn or breached. Hydnopora is a "Midas Touch...take no prisoners kind of coral, lol. Boy I sure like the new ATI T-5 Actinic and they balance out the (2) 250w 12K Reeflux.

BTW I had to move up to a #20lb CO2 when the #10 was sucked dry in 3 months and not annually anymore...groan.

Looks absolutely amazing in there Deb, great job in creating such a beautiful Reeftank. The Bicolor Anthias trio look great with that centerpiece Acro, my quartet are doing well also and will just have to wait six months or so to get some of the colonies to mature a bit.

Cheers, Todd

Couldnt agree more^^^^

Just love this system! thats crazy growth to, what are you dosing if you don't mind me asking? is it just the CA reactor?

Fortunately the Geo 618 keeps the chemistry mostly in check, but I do add a 1/2 portion of Magnesium crystals that keeps it right at 1350, Alk 8.5dkh, Ph 8.2, Cal. 300-350. Cranking out 1.5 bpm and the effluent is wide open stream - which is why my Ph is low. I have been supplementing my 10% water changes w/Salinity, but only when I have 3 days to mix/mature it. Otherwise I use IO.

Beautiful system! Love the finish work.

I even made the doors to clip into the frame as opposed to Euro hinges that became finicky as they rusted over-time. I actually tried to magnetize the doors, but the screw heads on the washers didn't inset enough and prevented a complete surface for the mags to work.

One of these days you'll want to have a NSR gathering here, since I'm in the Central Zone for PSAS gatherings.

Heh, yeah the Cali. Tort is nearly 18" across even with trimming 4-5" stems to keep it compact and allow the fishes room to swim above it.

Absolutly fantastic tank Deb

Thank you, I may be investing in a "Salt balling" addition for boosting my chemistry. My Geo618 is not keeping my levels safely with SPS massive density. I'm having to trim heavily at times. Especially Validia Tricolor.

Incredible tank Deb! My compliments to you and the hubby on the cabinetry. Very classy. I think the next tank upgrade need to incorporate a tunnel through for his trains. :)

to anyone not in the hobby who would ask " why we do all we do and spend all the money we do"? to have a tank like yours deb!

Ah...but getting through those dark periods during our hobby...yes...we're not all perfect. We live for our achievements by the Lord's grace.
