so i got an aquapod 24g. and i notice the way they made the water intake is not really effective. the tank is already filled with water, rock, and sand, so i'm trying to get a piece of acrylic or plastic to glue the bottom and middle intake shut. what kind of glue should i use thats reef safe? i was also reading about reef epoxy putty to fill in the intakes does any lfs have any in WA

I'd probably use aquarium safe silicone so that you could easily remove it if you ever needed to. The problem you will have thought that is no matter what you use, you will have to drain the tank to allow whatever you use to cure. :)

WELCOME to REEF FRONTIERS :welcome: its nice to see another AP :D:D
so youre trying to make two different compartments in the back? or youre trying to seal the teeth that are halfway down the wall?

i think i'm going to block the wall and have only the top intake. i didn't notice the grates have a slid in thing. so i was thinking about cutting some cd cases to slid in
