I just bought a figi coral beauty angel, and ever since she has entered my tank, my spotted shrimp goby has been in it's burrow ever since and it's been about 3 hours now. Is this normal? Will they get along or will the goby be too afraid to come out of it's hole and end up starving?

Some coral beauty's are "reef safe-ish" many are not. I had one in a softy tank for years until introducing it to Xenia. After finding it delicious, it moved on to Kenia Tree before developing a taste to other meaty corals such as leather toadstools. Bye Bye, coral beauty

I still don't know what to do, my goby still won't come out. He was out for a few minutes after I fed but once the angel swam by, he bolted back into his burrow and hasn't been out all day. I don't want to get rid of either they are both really cool fish. Will the goby get used to the new angelfish?

give it a week or so and see what happens. it is hard to tell what is going to happen after just a few hours
