If anyone of you are planning to buy from this store. BEWARE.....the owner is known to be rude and does not communicate well AFTER getting your money. All he cares to get some money from you to use it to buy and expand his store. I have spend 15k on a custom made 450 gallon fish tank. The deal is 2 days and i guess he means two months, well its not done yet. I am giving him till this week to 100% finish the work, if not, i will take him to court. Stand canopy should be quality finish, instead he gave me a pine finish with stain not 100% done. All doors are not fitted right, thats why when i turn on my MH, lights comes out from the holes.

Anyway, if you decided to buy from this guy, make sure do not give him any money for he will screw you up and he will have the gutts to get mad on you. Lastly, if you are planning to buy fish from him. WATCH out from the massive eek...its mass production.

Make sure you ask him to write it down, dont take his words for he doesnt deserved to get your business, its just too bad i listen to my friend and regretting it now.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience with him. To bad you didn't research his store beofre making your purchases he has a long standing repuation for such actions.

IME I would also stay away from the fish store off Alantic and Beach Blvd in Huntington beach. Compared to my experience with them your getting off easy.

You might want to try Window to the Sea in Tustin. They are slower moving (not as slow as Atlantic) but get things done right. Quality, and honesty are worth some wait IMO.

Hope all goes well for you.

Good Luck.

I only fish and coral from them... definitely have good prices from the stores I have visited. As for the equipment ordering part... I wouldn't recommend it. Numerous complaints has been expressed.

Do what you need to... and hope you get what you paid for soon.

Hi, I am in Orange Co. and lately many local saltwater fish stores have disappeared lately. Several of which I really miss. There used to be one at the southern edge of Huntington Beach near Mervyn's on Adams. That guy had the most awesome Zoa's. and another place I really miss was on Bristol near South Coast Plaza. I was really surprised when I went by and they weren't there anymore. Anyone know the name of that place? Something coral and reef?? Maybe they just moved.
Does anyone have any suggestions where to go in northern Orange Co. for a fun destination fish store?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Tong's fish store on warner and magolia in Huntington and Pacific Reef on Brookhurst and Ellis. There was a store on Harbor if thats the one you were talking about by south coast called jeff's exotic fish but it went out of business, he had the coolest fish!!
