Looks great!!! All sorts of fun looking cars.

I would love to be there with you sometime. Looks like as big of a turn-out as we get here in seattle on non-event days. Raceing in paradise seems too much like heaven to be real.
 
Krish which island is the strip on?? didn't know they had one in Bahamas. Are the cars from the islands or Florida? How many races a year do they have??? Pretty nice.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I have a few more I'll post tonight. Luke...You could bring down your bosses car and we could tear up some of these guys cars around here:p John, the strip is here in the capital (Nassau) and they have an event every month. They use to race every week, and have what they'd call "grudge matches", where you choose who you want to race and then go at it, but now it's just one event per month and on holiday's. The cars are mostly all from here with the exception of the wheel standers in the first pics, the gray thunderbird and the big red Caprice. They were brought in for the first time for this event. The red rail (Airforce 1) is driven by an American who comes down whenever he's needed to drive the car because the owner is too big to fit in it:p I use to go out there everyweek, but just go every once and a while now...

Lets get to some real racing HUH?
Ok took my gab! That really looks like some Kool racing there! Lets see just over 6 in the 1/8th so that would assuming to be over 12 in the 1/4 umm well my 4 wheeler can do that LOL :) sorry just have to fun it!
 
LOL...How about 4 seconds in the 1/8th then Scooter like the green camaro:p They only run the 1/8th because the tracks just became legalized last year and that is all the insurance company will give them insurance for on the track they use. If they run the 1/4, then no insurance until they raise enough money to finish it up which they are trying to do. The made about $35,000 on Sunday alone...:)

Gabbs, they have Nissan's racing, just not very many came out. The blue car above is a Nissan 180sx from Japan with an SR20-DET motor and the black car above with the multi-colored hood is also a 180sx. There are usually 300zx's, Skylines, turbo Sentra's etc racing, just not this past weekend:)
 
Well I guess since it is a new track & that is the legal limits Ok Dood! It is all good, see muumm naw better shut up lol.
 
Dood you need to see them do the 1/4 in just over 4 seconds, it will make your eyes pop out, growing up I could hear the top fuel funny cars & dragsters 5 miles away, no kidding, sounded like we were getting bombed for about 5 seconds, dood it was so cool! I'd go every chance I could LOL :)
 
Yeah...I've always wanted to make a trip over there to see real drag racing. I can't imagine cars doing the 1/4 mile that fast! Supposedly when the cars come down from the US next big event, they are bringing those jet cars! That should be interesting:)
