Guys,

I need your ssistance as I have a meeting in the morning with a guy who will build my sump but only speaks German.

I want to steal your design for a new reef which is 567l or 155 Gallons

The tank is 160x60x60cm

The sump I intend to have built is 90x40x50

At first I will be using Sand and Rock in the midde, and starting from the Right the first bay will hold the Skimmer, is the baffle straight after the skimmer up in the sump or down, and how many baffles if its an up baffle how far up does it need to be to let the water underneath and how high would you make it in the sump ?

In the last bay is the return pump, how wide should the last compartment be ?

Does this sound okay ?

Regards

Dave

Bummer, I don't have CAD loaded back on this computer and RF doesn't like the format of my drawing program. Anyway, I would make the pump chamber 2.5 cm larger than the pump ( width ) and use the design posted in this forum.
