Hello everyone,
First off I would like to thank Randy, for meeting with me this evening to turn over the Membership packets and the banking information. We closed the Bank of America Business Account and Randy turned over the cash to me.

Presently I have the following :

Petty cash $ 112.00
Banking Funds $ 3060.00
Membership cards: 47

Per my conversation with Randy, he will email me the accounting data Monday aftger he returns to work.

Randy,
Thanks again

Bob

Just wanted to say, (after two weeks of ignoring this thread) thank you very much for taking the time to meet Randy and getting this taken care of Bob.

Bob, did you get the accounting information from Randy?

THANKS from me too for getting the funds (and stuff) from Randy!

The account was in Randy's name, so we closed it.
I have all the cash in my safe and will bring it on the 23rd.

Vicki

I have all the cash in my safe and will bring it on the 23rd.

I guess that Steven and I will have to get busy and open an account for it. I also have an additional $776.75, thats not in a safe.

Bob,
I finally got around to looking at the membership info today.
Did you count the money in the banking evelope when you closed the account? YOu posted that there was $3060 from the account. I counted it three times and there is 3306.00 in there. Was that a typo or a test? :p

Well anyway. As of now we have $4234.92 total that needs to go into an account.

Just a quick rundown
3306.00 from the old bank.
$676.75 from last years picnic and other meetings
$306 from the petty cash, new membership fees, and less the $80 I reimbursed Ghazni for the rental and drinks from last weekend for the total posted above.

Sorry I havent responded to your E-mail. Things are busy this week with my wife and son both going back to school on tuesday. Frankly I dont really know how to proced from this point regarding our lack of president. We all need to get communications going again and Im sure it will happen in the months to come as the rain sets in and we all start tinkering with our tanks more.

Wow. a lot happened in the few days I was gone! So sorry to hear about Steven's personal issues.

We will need to decide how to go forward, do we try for another president from the members or do we shuffle positions among the existing board and open up the member chairperson (I think that is the title) position so that it might be easier to find a volunteer? Maybe Ed could take over as president, I could move to VP and Bob could take secretary? Just a thought, not sure the titles really mean much as we all need to work as a team.

I have the membership cards, they look great if I do say so myself :D Bob, can you send me the list of paid memberships for this year and I will mail the cards, [email protected]. I am going to meet up with Jason from CFI and will give him a card (he asked for a free membership in return for his donations to the picnic).

I think we need to try to have a meeting soon. I think the Frag Swap is the next event, should be a good way to get a lot of memberships going. I would suggest it be members only, the frag swaps are the most attended meetings I have been to so I think we should try to send as many memberships as possible.

So we need to keep our heads up and follow through with planning. I am here. I do not have experience of Randy.

It is what ever you guys decide as group.

Date for Frag swap, place of frag swap?

I think the faster we decide the more people know. Do you guys want me to ask Eric (Salsaking)? I love bringing in new speakers. We still have a membership to Marine AQuarium Association of North America for Speaker List. I have that information. I do not know when it expires. It is active as of now.

We decided to have a North end frag swap for the fall. At my house. I guess we could send out the Evites any time. The third Saturday is the 20th. The swap meet was of low attendance but four hours almost felt too short. If everyone wants to extend the meeting time at my house thats fine with me. I also told a few that were there to go ahead and bring their equipment that didnt sell. They are more than welcome to try to sell it again.

My address is:

1525 219th Pl S.W.
Lynnwood, Wa. 98036

Let me know what hours you think will work best for everyone.
