Barnicles?

I have what looks like a barnicle, sp?
on one of my smaller live rocks.. its in a hole and about
half an inch in size. I watched it move a bit and shut tight
after a bit.
Does anyone have some, know more about them? I tried a search in the hitchhiker section.. not sure what it is actually.

Barnacles don't open and shut. That's more typical of bi-valves.

Maybe this might help someone tell me more about it?

Oh and stupid question of the day.. do polyps er.. poop out stuff? I watched what a few people had said in my other post was some sort of polyp get this tiny "blob" in the center and it sort of "pooped" it out and the current carried it away.

Looks like a muscle to me i have and still got a couple in my set up.

I 3rd muscle. I've got one stuck on the side of a frogspawn for months. Doesn't seem to be hurting anything.
