Hey fish people!
Here are a few rescent shots of Barrier Reef's System 60 (39gallon) that we have setup as one of our display tanks at the store. We have this system running completely on Elos products including their Zeolith system. The light hood includes four actinic T-5's and a single 150watt 12K Reeflux Halide.

We were just talking about the need to update these pictures. Tim gets back tuesday night so I'll see if I can get him to shoot some more.

very very nice zoos !!! :D
what kind of coral is the one on post 9 in the third pic ? :) ... it looks very pretty, is it some sort of enchino? .

Still one of my favorite tanks!

i agree, it's a beautiful tank.
BUT that milli :D  ...to much to drool about :D .
By the way did you guys sell Clamu (you know the little tiny baby clam you had in there) ? i don't remember if you did :) ... it was cute.

I really like the look of that tank, the corals look really healthy and the tank looks great! What is the feeding and supplementation schedule (recipe) of this reef. Are the Elos brand of additives really high quality?

So for that size reef I would really be interested in what salt, which supplements and additives are used, how much of each and how often they are used.

Also what foods are used, how much and how often. This all might help me with what I should be doing to make my own tank look really good. I will march right out and buy everything you are using, make up a similar schedule and throw away all my own bottles and tubes of stuff I currently use.

Parameters would be useful too, as a target for salinity, calcium, etc.

I would also be interested in what the bulbs are and light times for each. I think I recall it was a 20K bulb with T5s.

Share the knowledge for us :) I admit it I am not worthy, I need help and whoever this chef is... they know how to cook.

hey bob....i'll give you a quick run down on the products used in the elos tank.......

additives: elos omega amino acids 1 or 2 drops every 3ish days
elos pro skimmer (organic carbon source) 1 vial every sunday

food: mixture of rod's reef, frozen prawn eggs, formula variety pack, mysis, phycopure. we feed the tank everyday but vary what is fed.

lighting: 1x150 hqi 20k coralvue halide w/2 giesemann actinic+ and 2 ati blue+
t-5s

we run a calcium reactor for alkalinity and calcium. we use instant ocean for salt and we try to keep the salinity at 1.025. we also run carbon 24/7.
