Im headed off to HW store and wanted to know what is the cheapest bulb that will allow my caulerpa to grow happily in the sump????

I use a screw in bulb with a cheap clip-on reflector. Something like a 75W bulb that uses 18W of energy, or something like that. Just be sure to check the color temperature on the bulb. Most of them will be in small print on the back of the packaging. My bulb was only like $4 and is 5800K. I tried 2 6500K 13W PC bulbs in a small coralife fixture with no luck, but my Chaeto now grows like a weed.

Hmmmm. Good info here. I just hope when I go to look for them at my local “Home Depot” that it’s not like a regional thing like “Southdown” sand is....
