best for the fuge

I recently set a refugium on my tank and i was wanting to put a couple different types of plant life in there and i was wondering if anyone could tell me what they would recommend as far as this goes.Are there any benefits with going one way or the other do certain things do better or are they all about the same.

i'm keeping Chaeto, it's hardy and nvr give any asexual or die off problem to me even though i only light up the refugium for 12 hrs a day

I don't use anything in a refugium, but chaeto has always been the option if I did. Everyone seems to have the best success with it and it doesn't go "sexual" like caulerpa can
