Beta Glucan

I've been doing some reading on beta glucan (http://www.advancedaquarist.com/2003/9/aafeature) and would like to know where I could find the powder to sprinkle on the food I'm already giving my fish.

Is the beta glucan that is sold in a nutrition/health store OK to give to saltwater fish?

Any advice is appreciated.
