Speaking of Cool...The person that made our guest speaker possible is Mojo. I joke about Mojo Productions. This meeting was made possible by Mojo. Thanks for filling a spot on a dream list Mike.

I pencilled myself in for attending and I'll even throw in to help pay for the speaker:D .
It seems as tho my little conflict with the timing has been solved.
Mojo: thanx for procuring a great speaker, I'll grab you a soda when I get there!!!!!
Ed and the other people, see ya in August, turn up the air conditioners!!!!!

This is starting to look better every day now. Thanx for the support and can't wait to see you all there.

Charlie,
Would you like to be a board Member for this? You know that will include having to put on a pair of Hot Rod flaming shorts?

We are rounding up some softies to trade..We are putting a effort in to bring all reef keepers..The goal of this meeting is not to make a profit. Our plan was create a environment where everyone can share their experience. help their neighbor, communicate, learn, and support other people that want to do this hobby. We are a group. This is made possible because people want this to work. I will work on verifying proof of money!
So it shows where money goes. Our goal was to do this every year. I believe the money should pay for expenses and then not be taken. I am hoping each Club President, Board member of Club can become a board member for this meeting. I definitely would like to nominate Mojo. Alice, Nikki, Chuck, Charlie, Zephrant, Kevin, Reedman....That is up to them.
Again, you would have to adorn the Flame Throwing Hot Rod Shorts!

ps...I am joking about the shorts..But we will see.
Ed:lol:

This may seem familliar from pm to someone earlier.

The concern is showing where the money is going for some. I just want this to be as cheap as possible for everyone. We are not out to make money. But yet we do not want to be stuck with bill entirely either. The goal is to do this every year out West. Make those people come back. We want those new people to go Wow. Now if we can get some sponsors to donate freebies. Some things to be given away.
A raffle for things..

Ed

Quote from Red Lion for us in Richland

for those who can not get a room at Battelle...This was another offer ...This is The Red Lion in Richland

Quote as given :

Mr. Hahn,
Thank you for inquiring about a special rate for your Saltwater Club. Im sorry we are not able to help you with the meeting space. However,I will be able to put a rate quote in for you for your event.

We will put a rate quote in for guestrooms during that weekend. I will allow the entire weekend at that rate even though this looks to be an one night event. Hopefully those who come in for the event will want to take an extra day to enjoy the beautiful weather we have in the Tri-cities.

The rate we are loading is $69 plus tax for standard single or two queen beds. We will also allow a great rate for our premium rooms. This rate will be $74 plus tax.

Please have those needing a guest room call the hotel direct and ask for Mid Columbia Salt Water Club.
They will then get those special rates.
The phone number to call is 509-946-7611.
Your guests can also e-mail me for a reservation or more information on the Tri-cities. [email protected]

Again, Thank you for selecting the Red Lion Richland. We look forward to earning your business.

Details as soon as possible.

Look forward to meeting that Mtndewman. He has a few fans over here on the east side. Chuck let me know what I can do to make it easy for you.

Charlie,
It will be off of George Washington Way before the 7-11 from Motel. I think it is a mile or less. The turn will be on the same side of Hanford High School. I will have to get more information from Rico. It is close to his house.
I will work on getting more precise directions.
Ed:oops:

Hey Ed,
You guys need to come up with a printable flyer pronto so I can post it at the store. Maybe you can ask a few other LFS to post it too.

Regards,
Kevin

Sorry, I am waiting for more information. The rumor is its a guy that has a back ground with rotifers and clams. All that rings a bell is Ryan.

so which rooms are closer to the places we will be.... the REd Lion or the rooms at PNNL........ nmy wife and I are planning on coming......just want to stay closer to where everything is going to be happening....any input would be helpful!

Schottman,
The PNNL Rooms are closer. The auditorium is less than 300 yards from PNNL Motel. The PNNL Motel can tell you where the Auditorium is. You can see the Auditorium from the Motel. Make sure you say you are going to the Saltwater Club Meeting. The PNNL Motel will give you a few more goodies like internet access and continental breakfast, etc.

Ok, Here is the latest From Rico about our the additional guest speaker.
