any thoughts on whether you should or shouldn't fill the water over the maxfill line? i fill mine to right below the overflow from chamber #2 just so i have less of a chance of the powerhead going dry from evap. anyone had an issue related to this?

i filled mine to the top so i could use a ato

I fill to the line they give me, sometimes just a little bit more. Doesn't really matter, just gives a bit more turbulent water movement when it is filled not so high.

Be careful about keeping water levels higher than the maxfill line. If it is too high during a power outage, there is a strong chance that the chamber will flood and make a mess!

Are you still using the stock flow in the BC-14?
