i bought a 4-5inch female (gomphosus varius) i put it in the ecosystem with the invertabrates ive been reading that people have had mix results any opinions on leaving it with the invertabrates and the poly corals i have.:idea:
 
i have wanted a bird nose warsse i dont think it would eat corals but more then likely the small inverts like hermits shrimp
how big is ur tank

180g, does it attack cleanershrimp i have brittle stars as well
 
Bird wrasses are fine with corals and such. Your main concern will be crustaceans, mainly decorative shrimp/crabs. It won't bother with hermits for the most part. Also keep in mind they will attack decorative worm species as well as what they find on the substrate/rock. They need plenty of swimming room (less rock) and a few good cave spot to hide in at night. This wrasse does not bed under the sand.

please define "decorative shrimps,crabs".
