BK Skimmer sucking water through air hose

Took my skimmer out of sump to clean it, put it back in, but now it is not working as well...skimming too wet, making a noise...there is water mixed with air in the silicone air hose that runs between the air chamber and the RD pump.

Once that happens, how do you get the water back out of the air filter system and hose?

run an air pump thru the filter for a few hours will dry it out.then hook pump up to hose to sclean out line , hook up filter , keep high above wter level, cheers
