Black Ocellaris

Just had to show off these shots. Sorry they are not the best  I was very lucky in getting a pair of these from Kevin a little over a year ago they have 150 gallon tank and 2 anomies to swim back & forth from they eat out of my hands and don't care if i feed the anomies this pic is of the larger one of the two would like to see some day if they would start to nest up! Maybe Elmo could give me some pointers!

Love those clowns :)

Were they tank raised from ORA do you know? I'm about 99% sure they are...but you never know ;)

Also, just to clarify, there is no such thing as a "Black Percula". They are "Black Ocellaris", since they are Amphiprion ocellaris .
Sometimes it tends to confuse people. Even I say "Black Percula" sometimes when I shouldn't have and need to correct myself.

They come from TMC in Europe. They are called in the trade "Black Percula Clownfish" but he species name is A. ocellaris like Elmo says.

Some A. perculas have quite a bit of black on them but there aren't any all black ones available yet :)

Regards,
Kevin

Snowflake clowns are the atypical result of an A. percula x A. ocellaris hybrid. Only a few get this type of pattern and yes, TMC does have them.

do they sell the , snow flake clown at tmc
They do appear on the order list from time to time (not this week though).
I believe they are a bit expensive but I can't remember exactly. I will keep checking though and let you know.

Regards,
Kevin

Here are my captive bred and raised Black Onyx True Perculas (still juveniles). These are A. perculas. Hopefully, as they mature more of the black will develop
