Blasto's touching???

Can two blasto's be next to each other or will they sting each other? Thanks.

I would say as long as they are the same they would be fine. just dont let them get to close to other lps like hammers or torches...

Do you mean the same type? I have a red one and green one on the same rock. Think they'll be okay? Thanks

actually no... Blastomussa has been studies and found to be amazingly (albeit slow) intolerant of all others including its own kind (genetic clones). It is their natural strategy to form colonies that eventually dissolve between the corallites and disperse when individual polyps are large enough.

Allowing them to touch will be a long term source of stress.
