I added this guy yesterday. He has not puffed up and is not sending out his tentacles yet. He's pretty flat still. Is he just possibly adjusting to his new environment????

It all takes time. Slow down this is a hobby that takes time. I had a frag of a red cabbage leather that took over a month to open up.

I drip acclimate everything before it goes in the tank.

Just give it some time. If it doesn't open in a day or to move it to some where else.

You could try feeding it.

Really Low flow (Turn off pumps) in the tank for 10 minutes add some finely chopped silversides above the center and watch and see if it opens up a bit. I would think it would.

u can just feel brine shrimp me and a mate feed ours and they get pyshco extension and healthyer tenticles
