Blue Sierra Shops

I see in the phone books that Blue Sierra has several shops. Renton Bellevue and Issaquah. I've been to the Issaquah shop and I felt like a kid again in a candy store. Is one better or have more to offer in one than the other?

The other stores are Fish Gallery shops. Blue Sierra is by far the best (IMO).

The Fish Gallery and Pets store in Bellevue, I would never visit again. The overwhelming stench of animal urine wasn't from neglecting to clean for just a day or two.

On the other hand, Blue Sierra store in Issaquah is an excellent lfs.

I believe that they sold the Kent and Renton fish galleries. Now only those two will be called fish galleries and the factoria one is going to be called like Sierra pet instead of Blue Sierra. I think that was what they had on there new bussines cards last time I was at Blue Sierra.

Yes, the strip mall it's in is called Lohman's Plaza or something like that.

I believe all the fish Gallerys are not associated with Blue S anymore.

I was in Fish Gallery yesterday in Renton. They said the Kent and Renton stores had been sold off. But were still friends........

Here the deal on the Blue Sierr/Fish Gallery affiliation. The 3 Fish Gallery & Pets locations (Renton, Kent, Factoria) were joined in 1992 by Blue Sierra. Blue Sierra was puchased pre-exsisting and was designed to be our Fish only location. The Fish Gallery's were to operate as full-line pet shops and Blue Sierra location was our specialty shop. End of 2003 we sold of two of the Fish Gallery locations(Renton and Kent) and changed the name of our Factoria location to Sierra Fish & Pets. So now we opperate as two location Blue Sierra still remains as the Fish-only Superstore and our Factoria location is our full-line pet shop selling pure-bred puppies and all other pet supplies. The two Fish Gallery's remain the same but now have a different owner after 30 years of business. We still remain friends towards Fish Gallery and have continued a professional relationship. So as of now Blue Sierra is the only loacation for the best SW supply around.
