I thought there was a thread here on the Bob Moore frag swap this year and all the sponsors that are participating. Seems all the threads on this forum have dissapeared.

Gonna b a great event. Zerc is taking this event head on this yr. Lots of sponsers and donations for raffles and stuff.
An awsome venue with plenty of parking too.
Busy busy work behind the scenes.....
B excited ppl!

I don't know if this is the place to put it but since this is gonna be my first frag swap just yell at me if I put this in the wrong spot. Maybe people can start (if it's not already too early) to list what they are gonna bring.

I'm on the hunt for some specific corals and will probably be going to this swap, if you have any of the listed please let me know!

-Any plating montipora that isn't the standard red/orange, idaho grape, or electric green. Looking for ones with a contrast in polyp/body color.
-Montipora setosa
-Yellow polyp on red body montipora, have no clue of the trade name but I know it's out there...

I'd prefer at least a medium to medium/large frags of most of the listed but I'm open to smaller pieces. I'll likely come up with more things I'm on the hunt for the day of the swap but I thought I'd get a head start on possibly tracking down some of the things ahead of time

Hey Lorrie just curious if you got the messages I sent you, you're usually awesome at responding so I sensed a disturbance in the force! If you did get them and I just have to wait to hear back at least I know the messages are going through

yeah, sorry, I have the site up, but I've been away from the computer for a while. been a little busy. there is always some kind of disturbance in my life! :bowl:

Looking forward to the Bob Moore Frag Swap. Was wondering if one of the more senior members here might post a little history about who Bob Moore was and why we have a frag swap in his name.

I think we're (the Spokane/Coeur d'Alene group) is bringing some Setosa frags, if I'm not mistaken. Maybe Carla or Joanne can pipe up!

I'v heard the same about the Spokane group bringing some, but it's always worth asking to see if someone has a frag ready to go.

Sunburst Montipora is the name of the yellow polyp on red body montipora mentioned.

is there an admission to attend? Or what are the raffle prices? Im super interested since the coldwater folks will be there. And I can make this a work trip if I play my cards right and do some networking and research.

I had to go to the lfs to find out but the admission is 15 or the membership for 30. If you find a saltwater store near you they will likely have a little flier
