Going to start a photo journal that I'll edit when things come up. This is the spot I'll be posting new fish and new things just for fun.

Heres a few things that I have already.

Misc pictures. I havent taken any shots in about a month so I need to get on that

Right now I'm trying to expand my coral selection, so we'll see how that goes. I'll get it updated!

AAHHH !! i wasn't ready to see that dood !!
another clown getting eaten and what's the thing in the first picture? it looks like a spider about to eat (it looks evil :p )

Hehe thanks for the compliments!

I'm sorry spongebob the first picture is a sally lightfoot and the second picture is one of my same sally lightfoot(s) eating my clown that had died.

When I first started my tank in 04, I had purchased LR from a fellow that was moving to california. When I got there I found out one of his pair of clowns had died and he was so bummed out that he gave me the male for free. When I had gotten him he was 7 years old, I had him about 18 months and woke up one day to that picture. It was a great shot despite the loss.

I just got these corals a few days ago.

The teal one is a candy cane coral, this is the Indonesian version
The purple/green is also a candy cane, better known as a bullseye coral, this is the Fiji version.

I dont know if I like the teal one, I'm undecided if I like the color or not. I think I may trade it for something else.

Anyone have anything they would like to trade me for it?

The leather is a toadstool. It was my very first coral I had ever gotten and now my firefish use it as a marker to seperate the 2 pairs territory.

As you can see from that picture I have a bit of an aiptasia problem right now. Everytime I put peppermint shrimp in there they get eatten by the crabs, I cant find any nudibranch and copperbands are suddenly scarce. I've been looking for a butterfly for about 3 months now.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I started using Natural Saltwater from the Seattle Aquarium yesterday with my waterchange. Its 5 cents per gallon plus the gas money I use to get up there.

Artificial SW 150g bucket: $42.99

Natural SW: 5c/g = $7.50 per 150g + 2 gallons of gas each trip for 5 trips (30) = $37.50

I did 10 gallons to start here are the results from today:

Salt: 1.023
Ammonia: 0-0.25
PH: 7.8-7.9
Nitrite: 0

My nitrate test kit isn't functioning properly so I have to buy a new one.

got some new fish last week!!! A fellow reefer, Slimmer, had to downsize alittle and I scored his Sunrise Dottyback WOOT!

He's soooo hard to take pictures of though! I'll have to update this one later with better quality

Anyway I get him home and everything is fine, when I realize I need some brineshrimp. I go to the pet store and I found a CBB in good health!! I've been looking for one for about 3 months and hopefully he's snack on the aiptasia
