New Sheriff In Town
Hi All! I am curious how large these BTA get? I really am hoping it will split. It does look nice as a center piece in my tank but I have my limits! The tomato clown loves it though! Johnny

I read some where that they can get as large as 12" across.

My RBTA was roughly 15" across before I inadvertantly forced a split when trying to move it to a bigger tank. Now I have two, about 9" and 6" across.

I have five of them in my tank now and they seem to get at least 12 inches when expanded before they split. I have also heard it can be very variable and random on how big they are before they split and also how often they split. Mine seem to split every few months, while I have heard of some that have not split in years. Hopefully yours will split sooner then later.
