Will a bubble tip anemone thrive under fluorescence lighting?

I disagree. I have had a BTA under 4x55 watt PC for three years. It has grown and split around 6 times and is very healthy. I also had the same anemone under 400 watt MH and it looked identical to being under the PC's. Maybe not all will thrive but this is my experience with them.

Depends on what type of fluorescent lighting you're asking about. Although I wouldn't recommend it for anyone, I have an RBTA under 2X96 watt PC lighting. It's been under that light for almost 4 years and is very healthy.

Also, T5HO is fluorescent lighting and more than enough to keep many types of anemones healthy and happy.

If you're asking about standard NO(Normal Output) fluorescent lighting, No, it'd soon die.

have had BTA's multiply beyond control under PC's before. a little krill or something every once in awhile helps. silversides work too. (i only had one daylight and one actinic 55w PC)

This is a pic. from last year when I had 390 watts of PCs. My RBTA was with me for almost 3 years at this time. I have since traded out my front 130 watt PC for a 108 watt T-5 ONLY because of my clam. If it wasn't for the clam, I would still have the same lights. Does this look healthy? I do feed it shrimp once and sometimes twice a week.
