I have had a pink bubble coral for several years and just a few minutes ago it ejected it with some force and it appears to be about half a teaspoon or fiberous/mucousy brownish pink liquid into the aquarium. I have never seen it before and it then it did it about 5 minutes later on a much smaller amount. Is that how they get rid of waste? Spawn? Sick... to much Jagermeister? It has some buds forming. I have never seen anything like it. I wasnt able to get pics before the liquid broke up in the water. I will post some pics of the coral on Friday.

It seems like poo. But it was the first time i saw it. And it ejected it fairly forceable. I have had the coral for over two years. I dont feed it directly. I got some pics but cant find the usb cable to dl the pics.

I have a huge pink pearl bubble and one day I was horrifed to see very gross brown stringy stuff seeming to ooze out from mulitple spots all around it. I assumed it was pooing and quickly began to suction the stringy stuff as it left and floated out into the water. It was amazing to me, that each one of the "heads" with a mouth did the same thing at the same time. I felt better getting that stuff suctioned before it floated everywhere in the tank.
