Bubble Trap in Sump

I'm building a 48x18x17 sump and need to know where to put the inserts to make a bubble trap. I'm not sure if the first one mounts higher than the second or visa-versa. Thanks,

If this is from your overflows than the first one should be on the bottom. the second 1 inch from the bottom and the third on the bottom. somepeople leave a little wider space between the panes and add carbon, phosguard etc... do you have a pic of your design?

No pics of my design. It's all somewhere in my head. I have a large wet/dry box that'll be going in the one end and an in sump skimmer in the other. I just needed to know about the bubble trap and I think you answered my question. Thanks,
