bubbles on my live sand

hello all, i noticed bubbles rising up to the surface, so than i saw bubbles on my live sand what causes this and is there a solution to this, thanks

4 months old i also noticed that the bubbles r in the sand as well

You are getting gases released from your sandbed as it breaks down the fish waste. If you want to get rid of the, get rid of the sand or get sand sifters,(gobys, starfish, crabs).

Actually you don't want the sandbed to stop "making" bubbles that's what is there to do to begin with. How deep is it?

the sand bed is 2 inches deep.

rofl. mine is making bubbles becuase of the skimmers' downpour hitting the sand and it "oxydizes" the sand and yea...but my sand is like 1/4 to 1/2 "

i have an in sump skimmer, so do i still want those bubbles coming from the sand?

gas exchange is better with gas everywhere. so gas from sand is a good thing but it doesnt look pleasing...ghahaha
