I just started my tank about 1 month ago, just got the live rock cured and cleaning crew in. I am getting a lot of bubbles in my tank, it looks like they are coming from the substrate. What can cause this? Is there a fix? Please help.
Thanks

Welcome to reef frontiers!!:D
Well first of all do you have any air stones in your tank? if not this may just be air pockets in the sand that should go away with time. It does take some time for a salt water tank to cycle..

How deep is the substrate, and what are your current parameters? It could be nitrogen gas coming from the denitrification process, or it could be gas from photosynthesis of algae that is starting to grow.

substrate is at about 2 inches, nitrate and nitrite are at zero. We do have a lot of algae growth and have started building up a cleaning crew.
