Bulkheads in Brutes?

Hey, I was planning to put some bulkheads in my Brute garbage cans for part of my water makeup system.

Has anyone had issues doing this because of the curvature of the container?

Not a problem at all. I have them in the bottom sides to drain with ball valve screwed on.

I've never tried it, but my friend put a few bulkheads in a plastic bean shaped pond and didn't have any leaks. Not exactly quite as curved as a garbage can, so I couldn't say for sure...

NO leaks here, the Brute is soft and will flatten out around the bulkhead.

Use silicone!

ive done it too and it works fine. no leaks and no silicone. i cut the end off mine so i could thread a ball valve on. i only glue when i have to.
