ca reactor set-up question

i bought a korallin ca reactor set-up and i fired it up this am and it is leaking from the valve 1 connection. specifically, the leak is coming from where the yellow co2 tubing (which dumps the effluent into my sump) enters the white and blue valve 1 connection which has the effluent flow into it from the ca chamber. per the instruction i have valve 1 closed for now b/c i was filling the ca chamber with siphoned water from my sump. can someone tell me how the co2 tubing connects to these valves? does it just snap into the valve? any help re: how to fix this problem is greatly appreciated.
