I bought a used Calcium Reactor from craigslist (k2r reactor - ph controller - co2 w/ solenoid, media -- all for $250). I just got it all plumbed up and was in the process of counting bubbles/drips etc. when I noticed that the co2 solenoid was getting really hot. I had it plugged in for about 45min and the solenoid is almost too hot to touch. Is this normal???? Do I need to buy a new solenoid??? I have unplugged it and stopped all tuning until you guys help me out. Thanks again

I took it all apart --- all seems well inside. The valve works great but it still gets pretty hot after about 15minutes. Thanks for the advice
