Calendar?

I was just wondering if we were still planning to post the calendar of events that we sketched out at the meeting. Also, was someone going to post something in the PSAS forum to let members know that we do not necessarily check the forums every waking minute, but will get back to them within a week?

Just trying to keep the ball rolling. Not trying to be a pest.

My recollection is that the BBQ in July will be at Jeremy's and the August Get together at Colleen and Scott's.

Can we post the schedule of events through September on the public PSAS forum so that people can plan their schedules?

We can leave the rest of the schedule (continue to plan of course) until after the Sepember Meeting (elections), but have it ready to post after the elections.

What do you all think??

For the August BBQ, it will need to be the weekend of the 13th or 27th. Doesn't matter which to us.

Here are the tentative dates for the meetings coming up, taking holidays into account. Speaker dates will obviously depend on their schedule.

Sept 18 - Elections Frag/Swap (Eric Haggee's shop)
Labor Day on the 6th

Oct 16? - Speaker
Columbus Day on the 11th

Nov 13 - DIY/ Seattle Aquarium Tour
Thanksgiving on the 25th

Dec 11 - Pot Luck
Christmas on the 25th

Jan 22? - Speaker
New Year's on the 1st
MLK Day on the 17th

Feb 26 - DIY/ Seattle Aquarium Tour
Valentine's on the 14th (I know it's not a true holiday, but I figured people might make plans that weekend?
Presidents Day on the 21st

Mar 19? - Speaker

April 16 - Tank Tour - Nominations Open

May 21 - Elections / Raffle / Frag Swap
Memorial Day on the 30th

Thanks for putting that together Steve.

I think we should make the August BBQ (maybe add another event to this if we can come up with something) and the September Elections public ASAP so that people know that the BOD is doing something and that they can plan their schedules. We are in the high time for families since school is out. Advanced notice will allow us to maximize the turnout.

I'll try to get with Mike this weekend and see what kind of speakers we can expect to get to fill those spots.
