I have several different ricordias, and want to throw them in a corner together. The question is, can a ricordia yuma sting a ricordia florida or the other way around? Also, do acan lords of different types sting each other? My biggest yuma sits with a bunch of different regular shrooms and never seems to matter, but once a small rock with two watermelon striped shrooms fell directly on top of it without being noticed for a couple hours, and the watermelons slimed out, got brown jelly, and were totally dead and gone within 24 hours.

I've mixed Caulastrea together with no problems as well as Ricordias and Euphyllia, love the mixed look

Yea I just recently got my neon green purple rimmed ricordias killed by my torch. I chopped the last one a minute ago in four pieces hoping at least one will survive. They got burned and developed brown jelly. At first I thought the bigger one was safe, but saw the jelly today and decided to try and save it. The other one slowly melted away from jelly over about the last week. I'm gonna move my frogspawn and hammers together. Thanks guys.

Yea, I have put/mixed "Hammers & Frogspawns" ie; Euphyllia ancora, E. parancora, E. divisa, E. paradivisa, E. glabrescens together for years with no problems ever. But as Michael said would not place to close to a Torch coral (Heliofungia actiniformis) or Duncans.

Duncans? I thought those were at the bottom of the barrel when it came to aggressiveness and stinging ability? Did they take something of yours out?

Mine hasn't gotten too close to anything yet, but the day is coming soon...
