Can this tank be saved?

We decided we had too much time into this setup to not try and seal it. So I ran a bead of Weldon 16 all the way around the bottom and it has been holding fine for two days now. So I sent the guy a message and told him not to worry about the tank anymore. Thanks for everyone's input :)
