Can too much light bleach coraline?

Since I got my halide set up the coraline on top of the rocks directly under the light has been slowly bleaching it looks like. In the less intens areas its fine so is this possible or should I look to something else. cal 440 mag 3100 Alk 10 dkh. I had a 110 watt ho before and now have 2 250halides and 4 65 pc. The light has been on there for nearly two months now. The rocks are about 189 inches from the light

Typos?
It is quite possible for things, including coraline to bleach out when stepping up the lighting. That's a pretty significant increase in lighting setups and if it was done all at once, I'd feel lucky if that's the only thing that bleaches out.

I started out with the halides running 3 hrs a day and went up to 8 over a 4 wk period the pcs are just actinics. Can color temp affect things like that cause i know the bulbs are cheap they are the odyssea ones i just havent had the 400 bucks to upgrade bulb and ballasts yet. Prob do 1 at a time (bulb& ballast)
