And this one too, if your feeling spunky

Both are fuzzy, good polyp extension day and night. The second one is greener now.

The frist one looks like a purple montipora digita. No clue on the second one.

Hmm, never had Montis except caps. I think your right. The second is a green M. digitata I think now.

I haven't seen too many montipora digitata's with that thick of branching growth in the 1st pic. I would say acropora on both but as to specific species I'll leave that to Kevin.

I can't really tell from the pictures but I would guess some type of Acropora species. M. digitata breaks very easily. Are the frags fragile?
Here is a picture of Montipora digitata up close so you can compare the polyps and corallites to see if yours are the same. M. digitata is fairly uniform from tank to tank under a wide variety of light and flow conditions.

Kevin

If you touch M. digitata it looks like this. Notice the polyps retract into what looks like pits rather than tubular or raised corallites like most Acropora.

Kevin

It doesn't have raised coralites like an acro and has the look and consistency of a cattail. Its just a 3 inch frag.
